Castle Semple Rowing Club
Who are we? Castle Semple Rowing Club is a family friendly club which welcomes anyone who enjoys, or thinks they might enjoy, rowing, We have a wide range of members from complete beginners to serious competitors at cadet, junior, senior and veteran levels each having their own times out on the loch. If you've never rowed before and think you might like to give it a go, if you're returning to rowing after an absence, or if you're a regular rower who's just moved into the area then come and join the friendliest rowing club around!
What can we offer? A really great way to get fit, a superb antidote to a stressful life, good company, solitude in a single scull, or teamwork in a double, quad or eight, recreation and/or competition, a well equipped boat house with changing rooms and rowing machines for when the wind keeps us from the water. For new starts we can offer coaching, for experienced rowers access to a good selection of well-maintained boats.
How much? Your first few sessions are free. If you decide to join membership fees are annual and the membership year runs from Jan-Dec. Adult members pay £130, 14-18 year olds £65, under 14's £50, students and unemployed members £65. We also offer a family membership for £260. Racing licenses are issued by Scottish Amateur Rowing Association and cost between £14-27 depending on age. Rack rent for personal boats is £95 per annum.

Learn to Row Course 2009
Get fit, have fun, learn a new skill. Castle Semple Rowing Club are running two 3 week 'learn to row' courses. One in May and one in September. Anyone interested can find details below.
No Previous experience needed
Sessions focus on basic rowing technique
All equipment provided by CSRC
Six 2 hour sessions
Cost includes membership until December 2008
Train for fun or competition
These sessions are water based session weather permitting. Some sessions may be ergo based.
Cost £75
The price includes membership of the club for 2 months, this includes insurance, coaching, use of boats and clubhouse.
