There are many other ways you can help Hessilhead. Here are a few...

  • Sponsored Walks
  • Car Boot Sales - These are a good way of raising money. Would you like to give up a day to raise funds for Hessilhead, or do you have any unwanted items we could sell?
  • Fairs and Fetes - During last summer we had stalls at several events. We have some good display material, but need people to man the stands in 2000. Any volunteers?
We may be able to supply publicity and display material and Hessilhead literature for your events. Please help us to make this a record fund raising year. Good luck.
  • Gift Aid - If you are a UK tax payer, ask us for a Gift Aid certificate. When you fill it in and return it we will be able to claim back 28p in the £ on any donation or subscription you make now or in the future. If everyone fills in this form it will make a big difference to our finances.
  • Hessilhead sweatshirts - Embroidered sweatshirts are available in pale grey, bottle green, black, jade and yellow. All sizes. Adult sizes £17.50 Childrens £12.50
  • Sponsor a Patient - Sponsoring a patient is a popular gift. It costs £25 and sponsors will receive a photo of their patient and reports on its progress, plus trust newsletters. Many of the residents pictured in these pages are currently available for sponsor.
  • Care for the Wild - The Care for the Wild book, first aid for injured wildlife, is available from Hessilhead for £4.95.
  • Voluntary Work - Volunteers help with fund raising, construction and maintenance work. They also operate a courier service, collecting injured creatures and delivering them to the Centre. If you live within reach of Hessilhead and would like to offer your services in any way, please get in touch
