LEAP are moving forward with plans for setting up the CAR CLUB in Lochwinnoch:

Do you have 2 cars but really only need 1 and a half ?  

Do you have a car but only use it for a few journeys each week ? 

Not a car owner but would like to use one occassionally ?  

If the answer is yes to any of these questions you could be saving the cost of car ownership and using a Car Club instead. We'd like to start with a one car scheme, based at the McKillop.  We envisage Car Club Members having access to a key box from which they could collect the car key to use the car, for an hour, a morning, a day.   Booked out and paid for through an online system.  Car Club Members would pay a subscription and then an hourly rate for use of the car.

To trial the scheme in the village we need at least 12 villagers to make a commitment to participate in the initiative.
