GARDEN SHARING
Do you have a garden to share or do you need one?
In order to encourage and facilitate more garden space for growing our own vegetables, LEAP is asking Lochwinnoch residents to tell us if they have a garden that they either don't want to cultivate any more or are unable to. If we then find people in the village who would like to grow their own but don't have a suitable garden, we can bring the two parties together. So if you are in either category and would like to join the LEAP garden-sharing scheme, please come and register
Our ambition is to reduce Lochwinnoch’s carbon footprint and be more self sufficient as a positive action in dealing with the twin threats of Climate Change & massively increasing oil prices, and in addition help us eat more locally and healthily
