Lochwinnoch, a picturesque Renfrewshire village, is the gateway to some of the most unspoilt natural surrounding in central Scotland lying within Muirshiel Regional Park which stretches over 108 square miles from Lochwinnoch all the way to Greenock. It has one of the best RSPB sites in Scotland on its doorstep, with a weird and wonderful array of birds. It is an ideal location for those interested in Scottish wildlife and wildfowl.

Located just 20 miles SW of Glasgow it can be reached easily by road, train or bus. The cycle track from Glasgow to Irvine runs through the village and so provides easy access to the more energetic visitors who prefer to make their own way.

From waterfalls to castles, 18 hole golf course (one leg should be shorter than the other) to windsurfing, or walking or just relaxing Lochwinnoch has it all, just don't tell everyone, utopias aren't everywhere!
