We have launched our new website to help work with all the villages we now serve; Howwood, Kilbarchan, Bridge of Weir along with our established base in Lochwinnoch.   You can also contact us now on Facebook and through Twitter.  You can still reach us through the more traditional routes – dropping in to see us at the LEAP Office on Church Street or through the Lochwinnoch village website at www.lochwinnoch.info/leap which continues to be a great way to promote LEAP in Lochwinnoch.

Online: www.myleapproject.org

On Facebook: www.facebook.com/myleapproject

On Twitter: www.twitter.com/myleapproject

We also have our own video channel on Vimeo: www.vimeo.com/channels/leaptv

LEAP would like to thank Lochwinnoch online for on-going support, advice and giving us a place to talk with people in Lochwinnoch.

Why are LEAP moving to their own site ?

The first reasons is LEAP now serves a wider geographical area and needs a way to communicate with residents from the neighbouring villages of Kilbarchan, Howwood and Bridge of Weir.  Secondly as the project grows and develops the new website provides a dedicated space to feature the wide range of services and activities LEAP are involved in, across Energy, Education and Transport.

Will LEAP still provide updates on the Lochwinnoch village website ?

We will still update the Lochwinnoch and other local community sites with relevant news and information, while linking and expanding on these updates on the new LEAP website.  This means we continue to reach people locally while expanding the information on the LEAP website to help you reduce energy and save money in a variety of areas within your home, travelling and within your community.

Can I get involved?

Even the support of clicking ‘like’ on the Facebook page and sharing how LEAP has helped you would be great.  As a community based project, any support or positive feedback from members of the community helps to promote the opportunities to other local residents, encouraging everyone to reduce their carbon footprint, save energy and save money.

We welcome feedback on what you feel would help you reduce your energy use within the home, the kinds of information, advice and tools that we may be able to look at sourcing through the site or from partner websites too.

LEAP also work with associated groups, including the Food Group (Eat Lochwinnoch) and the Renewable Energy Group.  On the new website we are able to give more room to the activities these groups are involved in.  Click ‘Contact Us’ on the website and we will get back to you soon, if you’d like to get more involved.
